Cookbook Countdown#9 ~ NSCRHR ~ Tea Eggs

Tea Eggs ~ pages 168-169
 This is a slightly different version from previous recipes I used
Hard boiled eggs (I used chicken and pigeon)
Black tea leaves - I used Poh Lei
Water into which you add the above tea leaves. eggs
star anise, dark soy sauce and salt.
Bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour (I did 1.15hrs)
 marbling is not obvious in the pigeon eggs
but came out quite nice in the larger eggs

My son has asked me for these marble tea eggs for a few weeks already! Oops... i have forgotten! Thanks for the reminder! These tea eggs makes a nice snack for hungry tummy!
