FFwD ~ catching up September 2015

Continuing the journey through
Dorie Greenspan's
by my lonely self
***
Wed 16.9.15 lunch
page 300 & 301 ~ Salmon - roasted, and lentils
and
pages 398, 399: Citrus berries terrine
(in a round jelly mold)
but with only orange juice, orange segments and strawberries
(note to self:  always remember not more than a 2 second dip
in hot water to release from pan)
***
re-hashing an old post:
While the Doristas are posting their last celebration week
on baking and cooking through
I still have 90(-/+) recipes to catch up with!
This week at my FFwD
I am presenting two Asian noodle dishes!
Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Noodles:
deconstructed:
Assembled!
mint, thai basil, sliced red cili, cili flakes, sesame seed oil
surprisingly good! tangy - even with juice of just one lime!
***
Shrimp and Cellophane Noodle:
instead of tomato puree - I used diced tomato from tin
I must have my vegs ~ blanched chinese brocollini
***
Do check out the rest of group's results for this week's recipe at:
