FFwD ~ Roasted Peppers and a make up dish

Pretty pleased with myself
I created two shells from one;
and baked me another batch of olive sables
from one of the two rolls left in the fridge
~ * ~
First time ever - roasting peppers
I roasted the peppers for roughly 40 minutes
probably a bit overdone
a dash or two of balsamic added
would have made it tastier

but it was a good pairing
to Gerard's Mustard Tart
which the Doristas made way back in Oct 2010!
Here is ONE with a good story
Do check out the rest of group's results for this week's recipe at:

Looks like you had a busy week! Even though I only ended up with a few peppers, they were delicious!

Great "catch up and keep up". Love that dual tart pan- very fun. The mustard tart was one of my favorite recipes from AMFT. I just LOVED it and have both made it and suggested the recipe to others. The sables keep on giving :) And your peppers are luscious and colorful. Love the idea of a splash of balsamic- will need to try that when serving !

Nice make up and I agree, roasted peppers would go perfectly with that tart. I really love that tart. I just made a week or so ago.

Your oven was smoking this week. My peppers were over cooked as well. I agree that balsamic vinegar would go good. We use that with our roasted vegetable sandwiches all the time. I will have to make this mustard tart that everyone is raving about.

Thanks for liking my picture. The color of the peppers was amazing in everyone's Posts. I used my roasted peppers up so quickly, I never even got to the basalmic vinegar. As soon as it gets cooler, I'll make more. Good for you for stretching out the sablé dough. I've never made that mustard tart (it was made before I joined the group) so thank you for the reminder. Very nice post and make-up.

Wow! What a catch up you've had. I need to do one of my own! The mustard tart was one of my FF favorites. Everything looks delicious!f I can only comment using my old email address! I hope this goes through. Very frustrating and I don't know how to change it.
