FFwD ~ make-up post ~ Marie Helene's Apple Cake

I and Alice of acookingmizer

are playing catching-up or making-up

on completed recipes from
on
Here's my mini-version of this recipe:

full recipe but less than 3/4 cups of sugar and

I used half castor sugar and half brown sugar

two varieties of apples

cointreau instead of rum

using 4 mini round pans (4" diameter) with removeable bottoms
**note to self: 3 mini round pans would have been better**
baking time 35mins

sweetness just nice
still warm from the oven!

What a great idea to make the smaller cakes! I wish I had space to store more baking gear.

Hi Emily,
I have made this cake too, together with my sis, ages ago, but did not post it! Busy eating, did not take any photo! It was good!
Have fun catching up! :)
