Was forwarded this recipe last week and found out that this is very popular cookie!
I halved the original recipe and used alternative ingredients,
here goes:
125gm soften butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 & 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt (if you are using unsalted butter)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet white & brown chocolate chips
9 oreo biscuits
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar together with a mixer until well combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
In medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Add the chocolate chips. Slowly add to wet ingredients until just combined. Add a little flour if its too sticky.
With large spoon or cookie scoop, scoop a ball of dough on top of an oreo cookie, followed with another ball of dough beneath the oreo cookie. Seal edges together by pressing and cupping in hand until Oreo cookie is fully enclosed with dough.
Place onto parchment paper on baking tray and bake cookies for 13 mins or until golden brown. Cool for 5 mins before transferring to cooling rack.
Below: Rather interesting!

Wow very cool. Oreos about the only store cookie that I buy on occasion. This is a fun idea. - Libby
