CC#27: Kimchi Onigiri

A light and simple meal of multi-grains onigiri stuffed with chopped kimchi, egg roll and sweet potato and herb soup. I was pleasantly surprised that hubby finished that side plate of kimchi too.
Finishing with my ten-grains rice soon, so will make my Onigiri with sushi rice next.

I made my first egg roll,
not compact enough, but I am happy with results, will try and improve on the 'rolling' next time I make it again.
Today's Onigiri was inspired by   recipe on page 38 of Simply Onigiri by Sanade Inada.

Her onigiri are hand shaped, but I used a plastic triangular rice mold which made it so much easier!

Looks great! Thanks for sharing this Kimchi Onigiri. You might want to try confinement soup, confinement herbal soup, tonic soup, or tonic soup for woman.
