Thank goodness for Cookbook Countdown!
Look what I found from my stash ~ Classic Asian Noodles
***
Soto Mee (Noodles in Indonesian Chicken Soup) - pages 156-157
 Very pleased with the results!
I used spaghetti instead of yellow noodles
and finally managed to source some bean sprouts
(otherwise I would have used thinly sliced cabbage)
I totally messed up the Bergedel (potato cake)
but still tasted good (instead of coating the patties in egg,
I went and added the egg to the patty mix!)
Hubby said it needed more salt!

I love soto ayam! Had it in Bali and it was delicious! The bergedel looks good, the "extra" egg in it must have made it more moist! :)

Love this dish Emily, and adding the egg like you did was a great idea.
