Thank goodness for Cookbook Countdown!
Look what I found from my stash ~ Classic Asian Noodles (CAN)
***
page 115: Mouse-tail noodles in soup
chicken stock (I used salmon fish stock)
salt
chicken breast meat thinly sliced
prawns peeled leaving tails intact (omitted)
fish balls, carrot sticks for color
bean sprouts (I used thinly sliced white cabbage)
fresh mouse tail noodles (ran out of, used udon)
fried garlic, garlic oil
garnish: spring onion, coriander leaves,
salted Tientsin cabbage (I used salted)
condiment: red and green bird eye chilies in light soy sauce
I do believe the fried garlic and garlic oil does the magic in this dish

Fried garlic always does a certain magic to a dish! So many "liao" in the bowl...yummy!
