The CSB ~ Feb ~ Lemon Velvet Cake

Finally got this cake baked
did not like the idea of cutting squares
cos this cake is for distribution as DH
is not eating any citrus for the time being
 using room temperature butter and icing sugar 
whipped this all by hand
though got some of the steps wrong
but all's fine in the end
 all mini pans (for half the recipe)
 love those tiny bite size pieces
glazed them with a lemon curd (by Dorie Greenspan)
that uses whole eggs - not only yolks!
which I like cos less stuff in the freezer!
 by the time of posting
I ate this cupcake and four bitesize ones!
