originally cream-topped
asparagus, broccoli and red pepper
but my adaptation was
greek-yogurt topped
celery n yellow zucchini,
broccoli n green zucchini
and red bell peppers
using fish stock and skipped the bouillon cubes
~simple enough to put together~
used three pots of course
and blend starting with the lightest color vegetable, of course!
*the yellow zucchini cost me RM14.50 each while
the green zucchini cost half the price

Hi Emily,
Interesting soups! Lovely with some crustry bread!
I am going to try the celery soup. Sounds interesting!
I'm glad you went your own direction on these soups! I think celery in there as an ingredient is inspired! Wish I thought of that.
Hey, I love your innovations! All three look good.
Ooh, great twist using fish stock!
Lovely soup and what a great idea using fish stock. Have a great weekend:)
Seafood stock was a great pairing for all of these, but I'm guessing it went especially well with the red pepper soup. I love how each soup looks so different from the other.
Using the celery was a great idea and probably gave a lot of flavor.
I loved cooked celery in soups, stews, etc. Your soups are so
colorful and the fish stock was interesting.
I like the presentation of the trio of soups all together. I've made cream of celery soup, but making it with this formula sounds like a simpler treat to try.
ooo! I hate when that happens! (missing asparagus...) Great recovery!
Great adaptation with the celery and fish stock!
I like that you ended up with tri-colour soups, instead of two greens and a red. My partner laughed when he found out your husband ate the asparagus. It's what he'd have done, given the chance!
I like your version of yellow zucchini and celery soup but why is it so expensive? It is out of season?
Great looking soups ! Funny about the price difference between colors. We have a similar thing in Pennsylvania when I want to try an orange or yellow Bell pepper instead of red or green. They are WAY more expensive. I think it is just that there are less of them but it still feels sort of "unfair" when they are technically the same item. Oh well, what we do for food & French Fridays !
It was nice that you improvised on the third soup and made it your own! Very pretty.
