roughly chopped ginger, garlic cloves crushed,
thick black kicap, black vinegar,
maggi seasong, shao hsing wine
chicken breast fillets, thickly sliced diagonally,
Hokkien noodles or do like I did - pasta!
peanut oil for sauteing
1 small cucumber - peeled and sliced on diagonal
1/2 cup carrots and onions pickle
oyster sauce - omitted
1/4 cup fresh black cloud ear fungus
~ I used reconstituted dried ones
1/4 cup mint leaves - picked, washed and dried
Sichuan pepper and salt (page 194) - skipped
