FFwD ~ Curried Mussels

This week's FFwD recipe was made
two weeks ago
immediately after the delicious Simplest Breton Fish Soup
served with Vivien's beetroot pasta
and blanched broccoli
ps: my curries are never great
but using Dorie's recipe - hubby enjoyed curried beef too!

Great idea to make a beef version for your hubby---Bill would have been more onboard with that!

I think that simple curry sauce would have been tasty with just about anything! We loved it.

Looks beautiful and I love how much color your curry added to the sauce!

This sauce was great. I saw some other Doristas used shrimp. Beef sounds good too.

Great idea to substitute beef. I need to give that a try.

Dear Emily, this looks absolutely delicious and so very colorful - what a great idea to serve the mussels with such a lovely cream sauce and the burgundy beetroot pasta and bright green broccoli - a feast for palate and the eyes!
Have a nice weekend,
Andrea

Emily, you did it all this week and satisfied your husband also. Good for you. I take exception that your curries are never good because this recipe seems to have solved that problem. Mussels. Beef. You've cracked the code!

I hope you enjoy the Navarin Printanier as much as we did. Enjoy your week.
