I like your idea of eating this cake toasted with sandwich spread... We had ours like lunchbox muffins and some dipped with soup as appetizer.

I think this cake looks even nicer in the ring mold. Using savory spreads is a good addition.
Hi Emily,Your cake looks great!! I've never baked a cake with polenta so this will be a 1st and I love the idea of toasting it - good for breakfast. I'm always in a rush in the morning so I plan to bake this on a Sunday and then have the cake slices toasted throughout the week.
