TCS ~ April's Cinnamon Swirl Buttermilk Pound Cake

Cinnamon Swirl Buttermilk Pound Cake
from The Cake Book by Tish Boyle

some members of TCS experienced cake being stucked to the pan

hence I made sure to butter and flour my pan even though its a non-stick!

I hate it when the top of my cake cracks

anyways.... the cake came out in one piece! yeah!

by the way, I put in two layers of the streusel and still had some balance!

my take was:
I halved the amount for sugar,
pounded two cardamon pods,
I had no buttermilk - so add lemon juice to a cup of full cream milk

Check out how my fellow TCS member did HERE!

Yours turned out so pretty and plump looking! And yes, it is a real shame when cakes stick. I hate it, but luckily it never changes the flavor :)

That's a lovely cake, Emily! I bet the streusel adds a yumminess to the pound cake! Cakes stuck to pans, I guess is every bakers' nightmare!! :)
