THB #10 ~ Danish Chocolate Streusel-Swirled Coffee Cake

Its our 10th bake at The Home Bakers group
Lou Seibert Pappas' Coffee Cakes, simple, sweet and savory!
 
was a bit worried about the snipping and twisting,
but nothing to worry about!

ps: I did use more than the original amount for the flour ~
an extra 1.5 cups (6.5cups) to the stipulated 4 to 5cups!

  4. Hi Emily! Super wonderful bake! Looks like everyone love this bread! I made half a recipe and used almost 3 cups of flour. Your bread recipients must be over the moon with these! Yum!

  7. Hi Emily,

    I find this dough very oily and a bit sticky too but I resist a lot to minimise the use of additional flour while kneading the dough and so I think mine is generally a little oily.

    With 6.5 cup of flour, your bread look good!

  8. Hi Emily, I used more flour than stated in the original recipe as well, I wonder is it due to different absorbencies of the flour from Sg and the flour from US? Anyway your bread turned out very delicoius-looking! Yum!
