Pengat is easy to prepare and very refreshing when eaten cold and after a heavy meal.
Pengat can be prepared using durian or jackfruit (nangka) instead of bananas.
Basically this is a variation of Bubur Cha cha, it has sweet potato, yam, sago seeds,
cream (in place of coconut milk), knotted pandan leaf, gula merah and jackfruit.

I have not eaten pengat in ages! I love the one with durian, but I would not say no to your bowl of pengat!
Oh, I would love to try this one for sure, ingredients I am not familiar with would be such fun to explore when it all looks so pretty! So impressive.
So many exotic, to us in the US, ingredients. Sounds refreshing.
