Trinidad Chicken with Jamaican Fried Dough/Festivals
Perhaps the spices I used varied from the recipe
hence the color is different than Charlene's results
nevertheless it tasted good
perhaps I should have used frozen peas
instead of frozen mixed vegs
to get the original greenish hue
and I only used two drumsticks instead of 4
with the amount of coconut milk and water as stated
in the recipe, should have reduced the liquids
and the Fried Dough/Festival was interesting!
which differs from this recipe which has only 3 tablespoons
of cornmeal as compared to 1 cup in the first recipe
below: the fried dough/Festival
was great with a hot cup of MILO for hubby
