Joining the gurls
in
I used radish in place of turnips
chopped tomato in place of tomato paste
water with 1 OX beef cube (could have done with plain water)
cooked for total of 1.5 hours on the stove
this Corning ware casserole pot is older than DD#1
pretty good stew - very tender meat
I am thinking of eating this with plain rice (for Monday's lunch)
or maybe even mashed potato if I am up to it
updated:
made this to go with the stew packed for workmates

Emily, this stew is my favorite now! Must try using radish next time.
What a delicious bowl of stew!
Sunday is over :( I'll definitely rename it to a weekday / weekend stew so I can make it whenever I want, haha! Your stew looks delicious!
Ree's stew recipe is great... my family enjoyed it too!
