FFwD ~ Coddled Eggs with Foie Gras

This week's recipe was
choosen by Cher Rockwell!
The main ingredients were
foie gras pate or mousse
and optional black truffle
which I skipped over
and
used smoked duck breast
and bechamel sauce (pgs 375-376)
(delish!)
in place of heavy cream
nutmeg, salt and pepper to season
and two smallish eggs

steamed in single serving
steaming basket

its pretty good!
delish to be correct!

  7. Hmmmm, smoked duck. Sounds very tasty. One of my favorite FFWD recipes is Duck Breasts with Fresh Peaches. Have you tried it? I need a steamer like yours. Looks as if it did the job.

  8. Your eggs look perfect - gorgeous steamer. I've never tried smoked duck, but I bet it was excellent with the eggs.

  10. Interesting ingredients. But they sound delicious. I thought this was ok, but not over-the-top delicious, but the method is kind of interesting - and made me get out my bamboo steamer too! :)
