One of my items on the-to-do-list crossed off today:
1 large onion, 3 cloves garlic, a thumb size fresh ginger (blended)
Fresh minced beef, 2 cans of Fava beans (I used 1 can chick beans and
1 can of Fava) you may use baked beans if you cannot find fava
I used olive oil with butter to saute the pureed ingredients,
when fragrant, add 4 tablespoons of Beriani powder and minced beef.
Stir fry till meat is dry. Add the beans, salt to taste.
Sauce not too wet but not too dry. Garnish and serve.
My first ever Kacang Pool served with Soft Chapati (recipe HERE)
first time my chapati came out soft
first time my chapati came out soft
traditionally served with a sunny side up, chopped green cili,
a squeeze of lime
Yummy! My kinda meal! Delish!
