FFwD ~ non-raw-fish make up dish(s)

Still rushing between home and hospital...
so this is a follow-up of what I made previously
immediately after the lentils!
**
I enjoyed the tomato sauce of the Osso Buco so much
that I made again with the next two days
this time with short ribs
served with blanched ladies fingers
and cardamon rice pilaf (used orange zest instead of lemon)

both recipes are keepers!

  3. I don't know what is happening with you and yours but know that we are all concerned and thinking of you, Emily. Your rice looks delicious as does your entire meal. I didn't make the cerviche either but will get it made eventually.

Your dish of Osso Bucco with rice and French beans looks wonderful - a perfect, comfort-style dish to enjoy with family and friends!
    All the very best,

  6. I am with all on the concern about the hospital visits- kudos for posting at all during such times. Get rest and yes, your dish looks great. I still have to do the osso bucco myself but am looking forward to it !

  7. Yes, hope all is going well. Your short ribs look good with the rice pilaf. What are ladies fingers? Are they the same as what we call okra in the US, or something unique to where you are?

  8. Wishing you kind thoughts. As others have said, kudos to you for cooking in these stressful times. I should try the cardamon rice pilaf, that looks good to me. I don't do raw fish/meat either, I did a make-up too.

I love your idea for the short ribs version and the cardamom rice is one of my favourites, too.

I enjoyed that cardamom rice - all of your makeup posts are helping me to remember some really delicious French Fridays past.
