Some baking on a quiet afternoon

 Above: had this Panettone in the freezer for the longest time...
 No longer! made my first bread & butter pudding:
(1) Beat together 4 egg yolks from DH's breakfast and lunch plus 1 egg
(2) add heated milk
(3) pour mixture on top ~
(a) 3 slices of buttered wholemeal squares on the bottom layer
(b) 1 green apple cut into cubes
(c) handful of raisins
 (d) sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
 (e) topped with a layer of Panettone with more raisins and brown sugar
Bake for 40mins or skewer comes out dry

Above: Scones - to lazy to clean up so many utensils so straight from mixing bowl into muffin pans!
