In the order of what I ate for dinner
firstly the (seared) tuna and mango ceviche
(I have another half portion in the fridge
for a sandwich filling for tomorrow's lunch)
ps: delish sandwich!
more tuna - spice crusted tuna
served over vanilla vegetable salad
I used vanilla extract
[ps: I did put the tuna back for another couple of mins
on a hot pan, before eating :) ]

I'm glad to hear your mother is doing better. The substitutions for the melon soup sound delicious!
I am glad to hear your mother is back home and doing better.
That melon soup is lovely & I love your spoon set. I had brought back a spoon set from a trip to China, but somewhere in the midst of three moves it went missing in action. (Although, it was no where near as lovely as the ones you have!)
Have a lovely weekend.
Very happy to hear your Mom is home and doing well. That line up of
delicious recipes is out of this world. Everything looks spectacular.
Oops! I forgot, I love the spoon collection, Beautiful.
Happy anniversary! Nice job with so many different recipes on one Friday. Glad to hear your mother is doing better. Have a great weekend.
Good news about your Mom. It's always a worry but no operation is great. And, Happy First Anniversary. You are a wonderful addition to FFWD - posting every week, making so many recipes, introducing us to ingredients in your neck of the woods (that I have never known about) and always being a positive and cheerful blogger. Loved that tuna and, as I remember, I overcooked mine s bit. I like my tuna almost totally pink. Red dragon fruit is a new one for me but it looks beautiful in your bowl. Those spoons are lovely. Nice post.
Emily you have done such a great job of catching up with recipes cooked before you joined us! You put me to shame!!! Your ceviche looks quite nice in the spoons and your soup is colorful and enticing! I have not had Red Dragon Fruit. Very glad to hear your mother is recovering well!
I'm so glad the news is good and your mother's back home. I can't believe how quickly you're working your way through the catch ups! Lovely job on all of them.
You made a lot of recipes this week. I like your Chinese spoon collection too. Glad to hear your Mom is out of the hospital. Yes you must get to the salted bread soon.
Glad your mom is on the mend, and out of the hospital.
Love your chinese spoon collection and how pretty your presentation is with them. Another nice presentation is your seared tuna over the vanilla salad…perfect choice!
Great catch-up post. I like your Chinese spoons!
