CtBF: Baba ganoush

This was actually quite tasty, I used cayenne for the heat, and toasted sesame seeds for the garnish.
Did not charred the eggplants (lazy and can't stand too long at the stove while nursing a bad knee), only needed to roast the two small globes I bought (halved) for 30 mins.
I paired it with fragrant coconut spiced pork (instead of lamb) on mini black pepper poppadums.

Both elements equally good on toasted rye bread.

  4. Nice food pairings, Emily. Always so different from what I would do. I liked this recipe. Coconut spiced pork. Hmmm, sounds good. And, for what it's worth, I have a bad knee also!
